Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why it's collected, and how it's handled. It's written to meet British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).

What's collected

• Information you give directly. Your name, email address, phone number, property address and anything you write in a message when you use a form on this site — booking a call, requesting a home valuation, or signing up for the first-time buyer webinar.
• Consent records. Where you tick a consent box, the wording shown to you, the date and time, and the IP address the submission came from are stored alongside your details.
• Analytics. Aggregate information about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate region, device type — collected through Google Analytics. This isn't used to identify you personally.

Why it's collected, and what it's used for

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, to prepare what you asked for, and to stay in contact about your real estate question. Nothing more. It isn't sold, rented, or traded, and it isn't used for a purpose other than the one it was given for without asking you first.

Where it's stored

Enquiries are stored in a customer relationship management system used to manage client contact, and may be processed on servers located outside Canada. Reasonable safeguards are in place to protect it, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Email and unsubscribing

Marketing email is only sent where you've given express consent. Every message identifies the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests are actioned promptly. Emails that respond directly to your enquiry aren't marketing and will be sent regardless.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw your consent and ask for it to be deleted, subject to any records that must legally be retained. Requests are answered within the timeframe PIPA requires.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics and for embedded content such as scheduling and video. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
